about me

Typical story. Started playing in mid '60s as undergrad at UCLA.  Didn't play for 15 yrs, then 5 yr period of infrequent club play.  Got back into bridge about 10 yrs ago.  Was asked to join district board 7 yrs ago.  President 2014, 2015.  Treasurer since 2013.  BOG attendee for 5 yrs. and first alt. Starting 2015.

Bridge important ant but has to take back seat to family (6 grandkids, 3 in southern Cal., 2 in Boston, 1 in Denver).  My other avocations also have their place; fishing (serious), golf (no longer serious), and flying (better take it seriously or my 46yr. hobby might come to screeching halt), with an occasional major travel thrown in.

professional: CPA, business owner and operator

The BOD is viewed by those members who know what it is, much less care, is that is an exclusive club. This exclusivity creates a "good-old-boys-club", "a glass ceiling (no gender inferences intended)", a group into which it is hard, if not almost impossible to break (before the naysayers respond ...
ACBL Elections
I campaigned on, among other issues, getting term limits adopted at the national level. Stay tuned to see if successful.
