Turning point in the Fireman USBF team trial victory.
Nice one Michael.
In the Well: Bobby Levin
Hi Bobby, first of all, you are the man. My question though is if they made a movie about you, who would you like to play the role?
In the Well: Sabine Auken
Hi Sabine, congrats on all of your success. The average age of the American bridge player has been steadily increasing over the past years. Is this trend the same in the European countries? What do you think is the best way to get younger players involved in this great game?
Forcing Game
Congrats on your recent Victory! You guys are on a roll.
Reisinger B-A-M KO?
I think that is a great idea. There is even still room to have a Wed/Thu event, for those not in the Reisinger.
Australian Triumph
I thought it was a muffin.
First Final, Round 3
Nice video once again. I enjoy it very much as I played the same hands. On board 22, we had a BART sequence and landed in 2H from south. I received a diamond lead to the king, which I ducked. A diamond was returned, and I won my ace. Now ...
Over taking and switching to a heart only costs when declarer has specifically AJ8x of hearts (3 holdings) coupled with the Qx of spades and doubleton diamond K. Other declarer heart holdings including KQ8x and AQ8x is 50% likely to play the T so we can count half of those ...
Also Kxxxx and Axxxx of hearts with West, with spade trick. I did not consider the heart 9 as much as I should have, it becomes very close in my eyes now. Next time I will play Rusinow so I don't have this headache.
I think East should overtake and switch to heart 100%. The heart ruff seems the best shot to beat the contract. Another point would be to see how nice Rusinow leads work. On the lead of the Q, the position becomes much more clear to East.
