Multi 2!d Continuations
I like to pass the double as often as possible, so I play pass as just a mild suggestion that 2 could be playable. Especially useful if you are 4/1 or 5/1 in the majors. If the next hand feels obliged to bid, this can produce some ...
Rule this Claim!
The main point for me is ALWAYS play the hand out fully. It saves time in the long run.
Suggested Defenses Against a MOSCITO type 1D or 1H opening
If your primary objection to transfer openings is that you don’t know what to do with a natural Opener in their anchor suit, the solution is easy. Overcall that suit natural, with the advantage that you and your partner are both aware of the 4+ holding on your right ...
Suggested Defenses Against a MOSCITO type 1D or 1H opening

Suggested Defenses Against a MOSCITO type 1D or 1H opening

Suggested Defenses Against a MOSCITO type 1D or 1H opening
You have an extra bid, don’t waste by using it to show a one level overvalued in a lower ranking suit.
Awkward bidding situation....
If 2/ and 3/ are all raises, clubs is clubs and hearts is hearts (both forcing) what pray tell is this “non-natural” meaning for a jump to 2NT! Let’s non make the game harder than is has to be. Not saying 2NT is perfect ...
Takeout or Penalty
Surely I can bid something else if I want to declare? 2 with 4 cards. It’s penalty for me, but I don’t mind if partner pulls if unsuitable.
two weak 2 openers
Hate opening a weak two on a three suiter!
