Is this alertable (T-Walsh)
If 1 1 1 shows 3 cards then 2 is not alertable. If 1 is properly alerted, 2 is not alertable it it shows 12-15-.
Is this alertable (T-Walsh)
Actually, 2N as a transfer to is alertable and not announceable as a transfer. If it can be done with only 2 , then it is an alertable relay to 3.
delayed support by opener in comp auction
13(45) #1 14-15 hcp+d #2 16-17 hcp+d with more I would bid 2 first
fast arrival
Playing 3N non-serious, there is no need for fast arrival. Fast arrival hinders slam exploration when partner has a huge hand.
Benoit Lessard's bidding problem: KJTx KQJx 8 AQ9x
I would expect an upper range for the vul. Passing out of the question for me.
Richard Fleet's bidding problem: T8 K97 986532 32
Not obvious but this hand is worth 3-4 tricks in but only 1 in .
Martian Standard Defense to Big Club
As DBL, 1 and 1 help responder, I play: 1N = + , or 2 = + , or 2 = + , or 1 = relay to 1N to show splits then 2 = + M 2 = +
Unifying 2/1 -- Conclusions
Larry, I can't believe you are ready to drop the Bergen raise. How about 3 = 8-11 4 card raise and 3 = 10-11 3 card raise?
Unifying 2/1 -- Conclusions
One solution is to play 3 Bergen 8-11 and 3 as 3 card limit raise.
Stéphane Turcotte's bidding problem: Ax AKxxx Qxxx xx
3 showing half a stopper
