Wrik Chakraborty's bidding problem: Qxxxx x x KQJTxx
I cant show both black suits. If I bid 2C, almost certainly have lost the spade suit. Pass see what happens will get another bid for sure with that shape.
Wrik Chakraborty's bidding problem: AK ATxxx AJT9 Kx
Initially I thought 3NT whats the problem. But partner surely has 5S heart void. This is going to play very well in spades.
David Corn's bidding problem: --- AKQT AQ92 KQ763
I'd have doubled not 2S. xx can only mean partner had a peno pass. So pass should have 8 tricks
Ed Spear's bidding problem: Qx AT96x Jx AKQx
Way too much potential. 3 heart support, spade x or SK and we have a shot at 4H. 3NT may even make.
Jonathan Cohn's bidding problem: AJ8752 A43 T532 ---
5H is easy, problem is can you make slam or even GS. spade suit should be able to setup , S finesse if required rates to be right. partner has no wastage in clubs and found a vul 3H bid missing 2 massive aces.
John Diamond's bidding problem: Q3 KT73 AQ5 AJ86
Partner had a chance to bid. A lot depends on whether you play x over 2S as penos or TO. If TO then there is a much stronger case for dbl, otherwise pass seems easy.
Barry Dehlin's bidding problem: AQ5 J8 J75 KT865
3H is 100% a 6 card suit. Maybe on reflection 3C is better. 2 spades, 5H and surely 2 tricks available in the minors.
Barry Dehlin's bidding problem: KQ42 AQ5 AK953 4
Tbh I would have doubled first time and if partner bids clubs revert back to diamonds. I'll double again on the actual auction. If pd passes great, 2S great, 3C i'll bid 3D.
Specific Kings
Hi All Wayyy late to this, but my partner has requested we play RKC specific king showing. I'm somewhat concerned that some of the responses put us too high. If for example, trumps are diamonds, 5NT asks for your lowest specific king(s). If your only king is in ...
Richard Traxler's bidding problem: KQTxxx AQ --- AKTxx
I think this depends on system. If 2/1 I bid a simple 2C GF, agree spades next round and start cueing. Standard sayc 2NT followed by 5D exclusion seems a good way to go.
