Honolulu BRP 7NT Lead Discussion
David B----Deliciously articulate as always.....and a very good song.
Kevin Castner's bidding problem: KJxx Qx Qx JT9xx
Hi Shiang---Thank you for commenting. What I've learned from this little episode is how easy it for two very good players, who are both trying very hard not to throw curveballs to their partners, can still....do that. Your comment is a perfect microcosm of that.....to you, at ...
Kevin Castner's bidding problem: KJxx Qx Qx JT9xx
Hi Marshall---You are right about many things.....certainly about the corkscrew. Based on your heroic efforts here and philological/grammatical fulgence (on the cheating thread), I will be delighted to supply some receptacles into which we can plunge a cavatappi or two. You've earned at least one meal to ...
Kevin Castner's bidding problem: KJxx Qx Qx JT9xx
Thanks Richard.... it might surprise you that two of the top English players are divided, most of France (starting with Lorenzini) thinks it's strictly penalty, and the only Bulgarian that I've played with (he did play in the BB) agrees with you. Anybody else? Any....why's?
Orlando Team Schedule Revisions

Danailov-Stamatov Win Cavendish Pairs
Thanks Bill! Too true.
Danailov-Stamatov Win Cavendish Pairs
As Jerry and Dido were our (David Gold and I) teammates in the Cavendish teams.....yeah, boys! Well done! Couldn't be happier for them. Nice guys, too!
Tales of the Saucepan
Of course, one has to put up with the management as well.
Tales of the Saucepan
Jim---Indeed you are right, and also others who imply or state that it is not all about just the money. I've walked home the inebriated late at night (with help from Saucepan) and we've all visited members in hospital. Point is, it develops into a social club as ...
Tales of the Saucepan
Thanks Chukker---seems from some of the comments that Saucepan has had some fans for longer than I've known him! And we shouldn't forget that he and his partner did bring home Mixed Gold at the year end Congress.....allegedly after starting with 6 zeros.
