Favorite Bridge Memory
Making a game in the Spingold that Garozzo went down in at the other table (ok I got a different lead and thus a better read) ...making a slam in the 95 worlds that Rodwell went down in (again a different lead, this one rectified the count)

Beth Palmer (1952-2019)
Here is her playing record at the WBF http://www.worldbridge.org/people/person/?x?qryid=3908
Beth Palmer (1952-2019)
Far too young. A bridge expert who was a real human being and sensible committee worker in addition to everything else. My deepest sympathies to Buffalo and Julie. It was a great pleasure to be her teammate for one of her world championships.
Beth Palmer (1952-2019)
Did you add her world championships? They were not listed when I looked (I was her teammate for one of them in 1989) and thank you for the edits you do there
GNT Format: Going Forward
Having a 3 team final is just absurd in my opinion. 2 team final s best
A GNT Debacle: Too Many Winners
Steve and I stopped playing this event mainly due to having a 3 way final which we thought was absurd. Also the way the qualifying swiss was run where we could not speak to our teammates at lunch because they had played boards we hadn't yet!
Update: Zia and Cheek Win Platinum Pairs
I was wondering why nothing had been posted here or at the ACBL yet! Thanks for the update
Memories of Margie
I posted a link to the more traditional obituary above and here it is again: http://www.levitt-weinstein.com/obituaries/Margaret-Gwozdzinsky/#!/Obituary
Memories of Margie
me too!
Memories of Margie
I received this lovely tribute from her non bridge friend Jean with permission to post it here: ========= I met Margie in 2012. She and I moved into the same apartment building in Miami. We bought the same apartment, 10 floors apart . Oh, how she loved the view….that panoramic view ...
