Marko KučAn's bidding problem: T95 AKQJ96 985 3
Should one open 1 hoping p ends up playing 3NT?
Marko KučAn's bidding problem: AK 87 AT875 AQJT
i would say game try or more, either in or in NT.

Bidding like this, I could've bid 4 immediately, I know. But still.

1147 with JT7th is also a possibility if you bid 4m with 8 cards, also a valid 3 opening. saying someone "shouldn't have done something" without even knowing what the hand is seems like a rush to judgement to me.

he could have eight clubs without the ace, and that is surely a 3 opening. Or do you only preempt with a solid suit and a stopper on the side, kieran? @ned at some point, i think all bridge players do is take views on things.
Marko KučAn's lead problem: 87 Q83 K9542 Q74
precisely the problem i was thinking - do you double with A or with void here?
Marko KučAn's bidding problem: AJ7 963 KQT98 65
It was a practice session. I explained my bidding after and all agreed 3 was probably the better bid. I certainly did not "misbid" my hand.
