The Talk That Never Was: The Blue Team Rule
Avon, a couple of questions: Is it true that Sheinwold was barred from USA coaching and/or captaincy because he would not suppress his convictions about the Italians? Is there any correlation between the arrival of screens and boxes and the end of Blue Team dominance?
I look for a very old book of bridge
You might try the Regency Whist Club in New York, created when the Whist Club and the Regency merged long, long ago. Might be something in their archives, or maybe there is a member there who collects memorabilia. General manager is Ron Cosgro Good luck.

A New Blue Ribbon Pair, II
2 spades was not "funny." We play Canape, but only in competition at the two level or higher by a passed hand with less than 5 HCP. So there. Seriously, though, a great piece, Oren. Keep it up.
Hugh Ross 1937-2017
Very sorry to hear this news. Nice guy, wonderful teammate, beautiful manners, great (but very subtle) wit, awesome brain.
