I have always found it silly that there is any carryover in a KO at all after a round robin. I.E. finishing 1st allows you to decided which of team 5 6 7 or 8 you will play. 2nd choses the remains....etc....That in itself is advantage enough ...

I'd be worried about a 4-1 trump break just based on the lead? with xx or xxx in trump, wouldn't you lead one against, probably, a slow systematic bidding to 7S? If LHO J9xx I can't get it right, so I am hooking RHO regardless...
