Congratulations, Gaylor. Many years ago I played against (and on an occasional team) with your Dad and Jerry Epstein from Indianapolis. A real gentleman and excellent bridge player.
Board 7 from the 02/07/2018 Common Game
In this sequence, South does not deserve finding the spade QJ in North's hand. 7NT is, of course, a laydown, but I don't think it should be bid with 34 HCP.
Board 5 from the 02/07/2018 Common Game
Isn't two diamonds a more descriptive 3rd seat vulnerable. bid? And after a spade overcall by West, why does't East raise spades?
Board 1 from the 02/07/2018 Common Game
How does declarer handle a diamond lead? Ducking the diamond to the jack is obviously the winner but what if the diamond is a singleton?

I'd recommend buying the book.
The Reviews Are In - Battling the Best
I very much agree. Well written and presented in an engrossing manner. I found it difficult to put down.
Death Distribution
Excellent hand and excellent analysis.
