Kyle Rockoff's bidding problem: QJ76 97 AKQ83 J3
Not loving partner's double. I can't imagine his hand where the double is penalty, but it's hard to imagine a hand where it's "takeout" also.
Kyle Rockoff's bidding problem: AJ32 AKQ95 4 K73
I do like 2S as a help suit game try. Then if partner accepts, you can go to slam. If partner doesn't accept, I'll keep trying for slam with a 4C bid or a 5H bid I suppose.
Kyle Rockoff's bidding problem: xxx AQJ97 KQxx x
I'd bid 3H here. 3D would show 5-5, 3S would show half a spade stopper (Qx or Jxx), 3NT would show a spade stopper.
Kyle Rockoff's lead problem: 8x JT8x Jxx 9xxx
What lead worked?
Itzik Ezra's bidding problem: KQ93 J94 AQJ8 T8
I agree with the 2NT rebid. If I'm forced to rebid 2S here, I'm going to rebid 3NT as well since I have a half stopper in hearts. Heck, no one is bidding hearts, so maybe they're 4-4 even if they're not stopped.
Ryan Daniels's bidding problem: A AQT87 T AK9754
It doesn't seem that dangerous. Partner wants to show a 5th spade and wants to hear more about my hand. I bid 3H, and then he knows we have a heart fit. He realizes his spade and diamond honors are fairly worthless so he tries to sign off in ...
Ryan Daniels's bidding problem: AQJxx AKJ AKJ Qx
They were playing 3C (cheapest minor) as a bust.
Ryan Daniels's bidding problem: AQJxx AKJ AKJ Qx
I don't recall the spot cards, but they were no bigger than a 7.
Ryan Daniels's bidding problem: A AQT87 T AK9754
So if I bid 4S, I'm guessing partner will bid 5H since his hand is Kxxxx K9x Qxxxx ---. Then I should surely pass his 5H bid. I thought hard about passing 4H because I figured I'd already described my hand. It was hard with only 3 losers though ...
Ryan Daniels's bidding problem: A AQT87 T AK9754
And if it's undiscussed? Turns out he was 5-5 with a void in clubs. It wasn't a horrible slam, but the trump lead and the 5-2 club break doomed me.
