The disappearing evening club game
Karen, I think you should do a survey of clubs in which the attendance is actually increasing. Consider the Duplicate Bridge club in Kamloops British Columbia. Attendance has increased to the extent they had to add an additional night, and use a larger room, so now the club operates four ...
What are your pet peeves?
People who tap the table, drumming while they think. People who lean their elbows on the table. People who don't play their card flat on the table so the face of the card is not visible to me. People who hold their card up in the air wiggling it ...

In our system, two hearts after interference shows a limit raise in partner's major. If I transfer into hearts, that shows less than a limit raise, and if I bid on after the transfer it shows a full opening hand. So, in this hand, two hearts shows my hand ...
Why did you stop playing bridge in clubs, if you did?
I've discovered very recently, it's not about the points, it's about the people you meet.... Love those smart people at the bridge clubs!
Why did you stop playing bridge in clubs, if you did?
