What would you do?
I would bid 3 diamonds fit showing, this seems like the best start, and gives partner opportunities to cue.
4-level competitive decision
I like this answer a lot. I shouldn't be here, but now that I am here, I am happy I got here, and am in a better place.
Bid game or not?
It is not winning bridge to bid 4 clubs, and then get pushed to 5 clubs. If you think you were supposed to save over 4 hearts you should bid 5 immediately. Since I think I have a fair shot of beating 4 hearts, I would never sacrifice with this ...
Do you play 1m-Double-1M-Double as penalty or responsive?
This prevents the opponents from stealing you blind, and lets partner know where you live.
