about me

Based in London, play for Essex county and in Essex county events.  Still trying to improve and a student of the game. Like to teach people to play but do not have much opportunity at present.  Still working for a living. 

I like to play in EBU tournaments as long as I can get to them easily from London and preferably avoid an overnight stay.

I have never played overseas but would like to some day. I have however played twice in tournaments in Scotland.

Outside bridge i enjoy fitness activities and  am a keen "parkrunner", I can be found most Saturday mornings at the Wanstead Flats parkrun. I also enjoy swimming and walking.  I am a big rock music fan with a lot of records and I still go to gigs. I also have interest in history and economics and science.

Nothing spectacular: I a lot, have won the CS league several times, London champions cup (now defunct), West Essex League several times, one day green point swiss pairs and teams, some side events at EBU tournaments.

I might not be the only one who does not understand what you are describing as I have only seen bridgemate scoring and round assignments on bridgemates.
Meal Times at Bridge Tournaments
My day would begin with a 5km run, then a sugar free carb refill with some protein, probably have oats with eggs, for example omelette, at least an hour before play. After that fruit until end of play, and caffeine as required. Snack at mid point only if extremely hungry.
