2 openers on BBO

Every time I get a good hand in a robot tournament on BBO, I know that they don't know how to respond to 2, yet I foolishly try it anyway.

My philosophy is that I open strong balanced hands with an NT sequence, quite possibly including a five-card major. Opening 2 followed by a major suit shows a good suit. 2 followed by a minor suit shows a very good suit. This does make it awkward to show a strong two- or three-suiter. But, at least in the case of a two-suiter, opener's third bid should be able to make the shape somewhat clear.

Still, maybe, it's me that't the goat. I'd like to know if the worthy BW community can justify my assertion that the robots are beginners at bidding, especially when their human partner opens 2.

Naturally, I apologize to all that feel I should have created to bidding polls instead of doing it this way. I'd prefer it if you choose one choice per hand and vote according to what you would do, rather than what you think the robot did.

And, yes, these are the first two boards of an actual robot tournament.

What I'm really looking for is the people's opinion on the efficacy of the robots' bidding when partner opens 2.

Please select up to 2 choices.
