I didn't play the hand but my mentee did, in 3C. Having gone down, and having seen the hand record saying 9 tricks are available in clubs, she asked if the the way to make it was a crossruff. No, that only comes to 8 tricks. 

So the way to take 9 tricks is to... ?

I thought the solution was nice and not tooooo hard so I (in retrospect wildly optimistically) posted the hand to the intermediate forum, where no solution was found. 

I thought the position was too nice to go unsolved so I am now cross-posting here. I will post a link from there to the solutions that I am sure will show up here but since they will have to follow the link the problem won't be spoiled in case someone there wants to work on it (my optimism again?)
