East believed the pass after the double indicated no preference for either major

West passed the double of 2 because he felt that partner was long in diamonds

For the purposes of discussion.... let's say that EW are white vs red and the doubler is not behind the 2 (majors) call, but in passout seat.

Now the 2 bidder can pass or redouble.  What is the difference between these calls?

Let's say the 2 bidder passes and his partner redoubles.  Is that because he wants to roll the dice or because he wants the 2 bidder to pick the mjor?

After 2 is doubled a XX is pick your major
After 2 is doubled pass is to play
After 2 is doubled XX is to play
After 2 is doubled pass is pick your major (no preference)
Something else...should you decline to elaborate the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your inaction
