This is the companion to my previous question, where North holds AQT2 K2 AKT32 A9 (spots may be duplicated, but that's pretty much immaterial and I'm too lazy to go back and check them for contradictions). In the original example, which happened at the table, the South hand bid 5c. If that's the correct bid, respondents to the other question could not see North making a move over 5c, after the unanimously (so far) recommended initial double. But as you can see, 6d looks like a pretty good bet, 6nt doesn't look so bad either with the hk appearing to be behind the presumed ace. Is this an uncorrectable system "fix" or has something gone wrong? After doubling and 5c, might/should the North hand take the bull by the horns, as they say, and bid 5d or 5nt even?
