I've created this as a poll to prevent complaints about posting elsewhere, but
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING ABOUT YOUR METHODS BEFORE VOTING:
3♠ is a mixed raise, 4 card support, roughly 5-8 HCP (and earlier in the day partner didn't jump to 3♠ with a 4333 7-count). If partner has a shortage, they won't be right at the top end of the range as our limited splinters are roughly 8-10 HCP.
You play what are sometimes known as Romex slam tries. You can:
- Sign off in 4♠ (vote accordingly)
- Make a short suit slam try in diamonds (bid 4♦; vote accordingly)
- Bid 3NT. If partner has a shortage, they will bid it (4♠ with a club shortage), otherwise partner will bid 4♣. You can then
a) Bid 4♥ to show a long suit slam try focussing on hearts (vote for 4♥)
b) Bid 4♠ to show a long suit slam try focussing on clubs (vote for 4♣)
- Bid 4NT, RKCB
