This hand has bothered me for a while so I'm posting it.
Our mean opp bid 2♥. But then lead a spade against 3N and I made 7.
3 got to 6♣. 9 played 3/6/7Nt and took exactly 11 tricks.
After a dia/heart lead, you run some clubs.
If w pitches 2 dias, you can get a 3rd dia trick.
If e pitches a heart, you can play a spade, losing.
This rectifies the count and isolates the spade menace in the west hand so you can spade/heart squeeze him.
If west leads a club, you have a legitimate 3 way squeeze on him.
This is the 8 card ending:
On the ♣4, if w pitches a dia, n a heart, you can squeeze/strip e and throw him in with a dia to lead into the ♦KJ.
If w pitches a heart, n a dia, you can cash the ♦A, ♠A and throw e in on the 3rd heart to lead into the ♦KJ.
If w pitches a spade, you cash the ♠A, come to hand with the ♦A (not the ♥K), knock out the ♠K, and get to hand with the ♥K to cash the ♠Q.
Here is a variation if east discards 2 dias and 2 spades and west discards a second dia.
