3 was Bergen and North South reached game. West leads the K and Declarer wins the Ace. On the surface it looks like there are 4 un-escapable losers. There is however a couple of chances. The first is to cross to dummy with a heart and then lead the Q from dummy. It will be very hard for a lot of players to duck this if they hold Kx. The other chance is the correct line of play. I might choose either line depending on who I play. The right line is to simply play four rounds of hearts and discard your losing diamond. For this to work you need hearts 3-3 and the spades 2-1 with A6 or K6 in one hand. When the player with two trumps ruffs the last heart then the trumps will now be 1-1and the A and the K will fall together. If the player with two trumps does not trump, then the other hand will have to trump with the singleton Ace or King of trumps.
