For Frank Stewart
(Page of 2)

Frank Stewart, as most in the US will know, writes a syndicated bridge column.  I'm quite fond of it.  One nice feature is that he starts each column with a quip to introduce the subject.  It may be a joke or a saying or some doings of characters at his fictional bridge club.  Some months ago, one of these was something like "A pessimist is a person who looks both ways before crossing a one-way street."  The column was, I think, one about safety plays, and it was a good one.

Living in the Boston area, I do in fact look both ways before crossing a one-way street.  So here's a question: what do you call a Boston resident who does not look both ways before crossing a one-way street?

If Frank or anyone else wants to use this in a bridge column, feel free.
