Frigid?

Anyone got any thoughts on the differences between double-dummy make-able, (expert) make-able, cold and frigid? I would hazard the following guesses:

  • double-dummy make-able: Deep Finesses, etc. will make the hand, but normal expert play would not because the winning line is anti-percentage.
  • make-able: possible to make by taking the right (expert) line chosen from among one or more reasonable lines.
  • cold: making provided that declarer takes a normal advanced player line including avoidance plays, endplays, and basic squeezes.
  • frigid: always making provided that declarer doesn't play irrationally such as forgetting to draw trumps, failing to take a necessary finesse, etc.

On a hand that I played late last night (tired and sleepy), I managed to go down two in a non-vulnerable 1NTXX for -600 and a loss of 11 IMPs. My partner afterwards announced that the hand was "frigid". Was he right? (Clue: it's makeable double-dummy).

The opening lead is 7. It's a pickup game so the opponents don't have any non-standard bidding or carding agreements.

What's the best line?
