Help Please: Continuations over 1X - 1Y - 2NT?

My partner and I play Wolff Signoffs. Basically, in the following uncontested auction:

1X - 1Y - 2NT

A rebid of 3D is checkback, asking partner about his major suit holdings. So for example, 1D - 1H - 2N - 3D is artifical, asking partner for four spades or three hearts.

A rebid of 3C is artificial, forcing partner to rebid 3D. Responder may pass 3D or bid three of some other suit, which opener is expected to pass.

So this system works really well in allowing us to get out at the three level if responder has a five-point garbage hand. It's also terrific at exploring for major-suit fits or settling for 3NT.

What it's terrible at, however, is finding minor-suit fits.

For example, we might have the auction of 1D - 1H - 2NT, and responder may hold:

Ax
Qxxx
x
KQxxxx

This may make 6C opposite:

Kxxx
AK
Kxxx
AJx

But you may want to stop in 3NT with:

KJxx
AKx
AKxx
xx

I could probably construct better examples, but the point is Wolff Signoffs don't really allow you to explore for good minor-suit slams. You usually end up playing 3NT. Twice in the past year my partner and I have ended up in 3NT instead of a minor-suit slam.

What methods do you play? What system do you use over responder's 2NT jump rebid that allows you to stay low in a misfit but allows you to explore for major and minor suit fits?

Thanks. =)
