How to bid slam on this hand?

I failed to get to 6 at a Sectional Open Swiss yesterday, and would like to know how I can do better for future occasions. The bidding at the table was

2NT was 20-21. Transfer to 3 and then 4 was a "mild slam try". 4 after 3 would have been a second suit and forcing. I did not feel comfortable with transferring to 4 and then bid 4 or 5 as control bids or 4NT as 1430. My counterpart at the other table, a very experienced player, just bid the Texas Transfer, and then bid 4 kickback, then put in in 6 when opener showed 3 KC.

How should I have bid the hand?

Transfer to 3 then 4 when partner does not super accept.
Transfer to 4 then 6.
Transfer to 4 then ask for KC
Transfer to 4 then bid 4/4N to be played as a generic slam try
Transfer to 4 then bid 5 as generic slam try
Transfer to 4 then bid 5
