IBF Special Ethics Committee Decision No. 5/ Fisher-Schwartz given additional time to prepare response to charges

The Israel Bridge Federation's Special Ethics Committee investigating charges against Lotan Fisher and Ron Schwartz has given the pair additional time to respond to cheating charges against them. In Decision No. 5, published on September 24, the committee cancelled a hearing scheduled for that date said that a new hearing would be set in coordination with Fisher and Schwartz and their counsel after the accused give notice that they have finished preparing their arguments. The decision, however, sets no particular deadline for such notice, though it can be presumed the accused have not been granted indefinite or unlimited time.

In the interim, the committee said that its interim order suspending Fisher and Schwartz from all IBF activity would remain in force until after the aforementioned hearing.

I'm due to receive the full English text of the decision. Meanwhile, it is accessible in Hebrew and English on the IBF's Facebook page only (and you'll have to enlarge it if you want to read it).

Hopefull a more legible text will be available later today. I'm going to be AFK for a while, but will try to update later today/tonight.

Meanwhile a Happy and Prosperous and Peaceful Jewish New Year to all BW people, no matter what their nationality, ethnicity, religion or lack of same.

I now have the file as a pdf, not over the internet. Perhaps the BW staff will advise me how I might be able to attach it here.
