Implications of the missing board 16

The first 15 boards in a match have N-S vulnerable 8 times to E-W's 7. This balances out over boards 16-30. But there are obvious advantages

to seating your stronger or more solid pair N-S in session 1 then E-W in session 2 while your weaker or more aggressive pair does the reverse.

This strategy could be avoided if the starting board number were randomized between 15 and 1.

There are further implications of the missing boards 31 and 32: two less red vs white hands; but using this for strategy is probably hard.

My apologies if this is well known.
