Do you have any agreement on the following situations?

(1m) - p - (1M) - p

(2M) - p - (p) - ?

1m is better minor, 3+ suit.

If you do then please share it. What do DBL and 2NT mean?

What are your agreements vs (1m)-p-(1M)-?

______

If you are not agreed then let's suppose you play this on (1m)-p-(1M):

  • DBL: 4 oM, 4+ om (normally 10+ HCP) or big (18+) hand
  • 1N: 5 oM, 4+ om, 7+ losers (we pass with 15-18 balanced if not suitable for DBL)
  • 2m: 55+ in the other 2 suits, 6 (or 4) losers
  • 2N: 55+ in the other 2 suits, 5 losers
  • 2M: natural, constructive, very good 5+ or good 6+ suit (the suit is well placed)

What should our DBL mean in the above situation?

What should our 2NT mean in the above situation?
