Been playing for 55+ years, but am still at the intermediate level. Have been teaching beginner bridge to seniors. Strong believer in the 5Fs--fun, focus, forgive, forget, and if none of those work go into a private place to shout the 5th F. Another f is for frustration; but we always come back to play in spite of it.
Read more »In view of some of the comments concerning the terrorist attacks in France, and several other discussions that degenerated (or progressed) into the realm of politics and sports, I was wondering whether there should be a separate area on BW solely devoted to non-bridge topics. I have been on several Boards not pertaining to bridge which have sections such as those, and they lead to some interesting discussions.
I first considered creating a poll to gauge interest in such a section, but wanted to get the feedback of everyone and particularly the moderator on whether it would be feasible and also whether there would be difficulty in assuring that the Community Guidelines are met.
