There are two strong opinons on opening this hand:
♠ KJ87
♥ K
♦ AK96
♣ AKT9
One is 2NT and the other is 1 ♦ (or 1 ♣ ) with a 2 ♠ rebid. I can sympathize with the 2NT opening as it seems modern bridge is quite open to NT with a singleton. However, if you are of the other opinion, that a Strong Jump Shift does not promise a specific shape, and you do open 1 ♦ and responder bids 1 ♥ , and you agree with a 2 ♠ rebid by opener (showing 19-21 HCP or a little less with a very strong 6-5 shape hand), then what should responder's second bid be with the hand:
♠ QT3
♥ J9643
♦ T72
♣ QJ
Please only answer if you agree with the partnership style of opening with a minor as that is what our partnership has agreed and we want opinions based on that sequence. Not saying 2N opening is wrong, just not our style...
