Submarine Triple Squeeze

A Submarine Squeeze is when declarer rectifies the count for a squeeze by losing a trick to one opponent while squeezing the other opponent on the same trick.

The other day at the club, playing with my regular partner, Polly Siegel, I picked up the following hand, and the auction proceeded as shown.

After winning the opening lead in dummy, I played the 2, RHO playing a low diamond and me winning the Q in hand, LHO following.  I played the 6 towards dummy, LHO showing out and pitching the 2.  I played the 9 from the board, which lost to the J on my right.  East now played the 9, which I won in hand with the A.  I then finessed the J, which held.  The position on the board was now as shown:

At this point, I felt certain that I had a triple squeeze against West as he appeared to be guarding 3 suits: spades, hearts and clubs.  But before I could executed the squeeze, I needed to rectify the count.  A triple squeeze requires there to be only 2 losers, and at that point I had three. On the lead from dummy of the K East won the A, and West was squeezed!  My opponent discarded a heart and I was able quickly claim.  In one trick, I went from 3 losers to none, as the 10 was promoted to a winner and West was squeezed, giving me a 4th heart trick.

All four hands are shown below:

If East refuses to take the A, a repeating triple squeeze on West will take the rest of the tricks!

I told the players at the table, that I had executed a Submarine Triple Squeeze!  All three stared blankly at me and went on to the next hand.  But I had a smile on my face for the rest of the session.  When was the last time you saw a  submarine triple squeeze?
