Playing in a matchpoint event on BBO, this hand came up. I was sitting North and, playing a sound style of opening bids, elected to pass in second seat. That led to an interesting problem at my second turn... I went with 2, hoping that my extra high cards would make up for my lack of 4th spade. This ended the auction. East led a "normal" high heart and as I contemplated dummy, I couldn't help smiling. We had just reached the garden spot at matchpoints, playing our 3-3 spade fit with 25 HCP!!! I scored 9 tricks via 4 spades, 2 clubs and 3 diamonds for 140, a huge matchpoint score.

For some reason I've always loved moysien fits, but this hand brought up yet a new theme: the beauty of 3-3 fits. Do they have a name?
