If you think player/s cheating, why not report it forthwith? Instead of waiting decades (10+ yrs) to jump on it??? Maybe reporter will get “Player of the Year” not thought of till someone gets it that way.

Thanks, ugh, so “convict” is used the way you say, and can be used both ways. Looks like its used your way with relish. Agree on word, electrocution as, ugh, big joke!!!

Bridge is a game, right? When I see bridge players referred to as “convict”, and in the same breath, electrocution, I am appalled. To my knowledge, they are not in the criminal justice system in USA at least.

To Gary Hann:
If this is the norm, I am considering withdrawing from here.

I find no forgiveness and was taught vengeance belongs to a higher power.

Afer all my years playing bridge in and out of tournys, did I ever realize there were such hostility toward other players. Naive, if you will, but at least I don't hold grudges like here.

I'm reading a lot of vengeance/revenge in the remarks here. Believe they can backfire..that is, hurt the author not in bridge but emotionally.

It has been written that cheating in bridge leads to improvement of the game. The “legal” signals have evolved over many years i.e., high-low; Smith echo, Lebensahl, suit preference, etc. These signals are taken for granted and completely “legal” now.(alerted/profiled)

In reading the comments re: F/S, ruling, I am appalled at the vitriolic aftermath of so-called expert bridge players who seem to like the “holier than thou” position.

I totally agree with you Rolf E.Olsen. Due process has been sadly missing. I have written about it more than once on F/B. The defense has spoken now so maybe justice will prevail.

The defense has spoken. (BBO on F/B).. answers to many of the alleged cheating accusations against “Fantunes” explored.
Interesting comments about the vidio on “You Tube”, often referred to by accusers.

In all my years playing bridge both private & ACBL tournys, have I been more disgusted with the way this cheating matter has been and is being handled by all agencies. Motives of various entities have not been answered.

IMO, after reading all the above, I still want to see/read proof of wrongdoing., i.e., evidence not hypothetical ramblings.
