I have a lot of BBO friends from India. I'll post there.

I'll look again tomorrow. Tnx. I might have to pull out my cards and lay it out. Sometimes that helps me to see this stuff. I spent too much time studying bidding and not nearly enough on play.

If he does that and rho covers with the queen doesn't it still expose a heart return if rho is QTx?

Pitch the club queen and hope no one noticed?
Seriously, you've got me stumped with that. The only thing I might do differently at trick 1 is to play low from dummy, preserving both the ten and nine of spades. Not likely to matter, but it's just kinda habit.

Thanks for going to the trouble to clear that up. Nice catch, by the way. In addition to the minuscule screen, this is another reason to play on a full-size platform. Which one does the ipad or other notepad-type machine use, the PC version or the phone app version? (I have neither smartphone nor ipad-ish device, so I can't run my own test.)

I was just going to recommend Karen look for your work. If it was recorded, can you put a pointer URL here?

How do I stop getting alerts on this and some other threads I no longer wish to follow?

There is no “shop” link on my page. There is no shop link on the $BB pop up page. I'm using a normal computer (desktop). Maybe there's some magic stuff on the app?

Huh? You might want to go into a bit more detail on that. If I buy $20 do I only get credit for $16? Or are you working backwards from the table fee?

Since this is a new thread I'll post it here. Moderators feel free to transfer it to a more suitable thread.
I cannot attest to the veracity of this, which apparently is making the rounds. It does seem to me (layman) that this explains a lot, and provides some additional hope for a better, faster outcome.

Fortunately it appears that “crowding out” is not happening. In fact, facilities marked for overflow/non-Covid ER-ICU patients are being converted to handle any possible Covid overflow.
The numbers appear to be overblown, but we'll know more in a week. I concur with erring on the high side, but getting back up and running must be a priority once we know that the situation supports it. Yes, I understand it's not overblown if it's you or yours, but it's not the end of the world unless we kill it.

Thanks for taking the time to make and catalog videos of these. As a Linux user I'm not a fan of downloading programs, so watching video is great! Adam thanks for working on the link. It worked for me. Thumbnails didn't load, but probably slow at my end. Clicking on the empty image worked just fine.

There are new video tutorials on this, made by various folks. ACBL maintains a partial list here:

No joy.
As I recall the story was in a bridge book (too). Fellow died and had to play a hand of bridge perfectly double dummy for his soul. His opponents were demons (today they'd be bots!).
Hope someone finds the reference, it's a nice bridge yarn.
I'd like to have that on a video, told well by someone who has a Television face and a radio voice.

PLEASE STOP THIS GLOOM AND DOOM! If it can be held, it will be safe without all the “social distancing” stuff. No more dangerous than the last Summer NABC, unless you forget your passport.

No disagreement there. My concern is that the more successful we are in this phase the longer we will extend the pandemic because we won't have a huge part of the population that had it and are immune – but given the potential lethality it's reasonable to use a wave approach to this virus, so we can bring resources on line, develop treatment and vaccine, and not overwhelm the health care system.

It has to do with the behavior of the mask wearer vis-a-vis the mask; touching, adjusting, flipping it up on forhead, below chin, etc. It's worse than just plain air. and halfway clean hands.
