So only offended people personal thoughts matter, or would you also write :

“whatever Offended name,

It doesn't matter what you personally think. Not everyone is like you. Just because you get offended doesn't mean that others do, or even that you're in the majority.

I get that some people have thin skin. Others don't. And that's really all there is to it.

Greg:

“It doesn't matter what you personally think.”

Why ? Am I so worthless comparing to those who are offended and whose opinion seem to matter much ?

“ Not everyone is like you.”

Hopefully !

“Just because you don't get offended doesn't mean that others don't,”

Sure but cf. above, it seems then that what the “offended” personally think matters…

“Back comes a response where the nicest compliment is that you are a stupid idiot. You find out that this is standard operating procedure from this person for a long period of time. Would that concern you? Obviously not. ”

Just advice your friend to put the person on the ignore list if he can't bear reading unpleasant comments from a stranger ?

BTW, I'm still wondering how insults written by a complete stranger could offend anyone. You can call me anything you like, as I don't know you, no chance it will affect me, let alone offend me. No need to have a specific button to ignore somebody.

don't know how it is organized on the other side of the channel, but here, there are no stop cards behind screens (what for anyway ?)
Screens already slow the game, I don't think addind a stop period is a really good idea…

“I would say that the vast majority who took the time to read this would have easily come up with the same conclusion I did.”

Maybe that vast majority has a different kind of intelligence than yours and therefore did not reach the same conclusion.

Aviv,

Scenario A: agree

Scenario B: that one is doubtful, as from my experience, RHO when he has nothing to think of, he instant passes. And, as you say, there should be no mean from the other side of the screen to detect who has tanked. IMO, LHO is still able to do what he wants, and it would be the director job to determine who has tanked if partner calls him because of a blatant BIT when the tray comes back to the other side ?

John,
“You already had 10 seconds”

behind screens ? Is it OK to take that 13-15s on your own then ? and not in the goal to deceive LHO, just to think about the bridge problem that has arisen when tray comes to your side.

For the moment, it has been totally removed from the FFB site and I did not manage to find it again.

And for knowing why it has been removed, no idea…your guess !

“still can be invited. If BZ cheated during Opatja event, Polish result FROM OPATJA can be invalidated. That is all.”

Reminder. Art 7. of WBF Eligibility code

"Violations
The violations are subject to the WBF Disciplinary Code. In the event that one or more members of a team are deemed to have been ineligible as provided in this Code (including any qualifying event), the entire team shall be disqualified by the WBF Disciplinary Commission."

so according to the WBF, no that is not all.

BTW, I just saw that anyone can contact Mr. Harris and share with him some of the posts here.

I just sent the proposed statement above…Unsure if it will be useful :-)

Not sure if his email will remain for a long time on that page though

Think my google translator has been hacked…

The WBF did'nt give a f… of cheating the last 20 years.
Unfortunately, some players took control over cheating investigations, ridiculing the organization.
However, trust the WBF to prevent those members from acting. Trust also the WBF to keep going with the due process which had been so successful in the past.
Finally, transparency is not an option and secret is the rule.

The first rule of WBF is: You do not talk about cheating.
The second rule of WBF is: You do not talk about cheating.

“Well, Franck, if you think booting someone from the table because they called their partner rude names and then refused to leave when asked qualifies as those, then they were definitely right, because that is what I did. Of course if that is what you think, your opinion isn't worth very much, either.”

Well, according to your posts in general, it seems that any opinion that differs from yours is not worth very much so…

That was the point of my voluntarily provocative question and a kind of an echo to what Peg was wondering, i.e. “Why are people doing this to Cornelia ?”.

Maybe it's not just them (all the bad-sexist-machist-denigrating-women people), but, indeed, it's about you.
