Your comments is good, but why instead ‘he’ of ‘hen’ - which might be an insulting term.

I don't want to say i only “strong” instead of saying what I am “strong”. :)

Michael, I never know what might happen, only hope that the benefits outweigh the risks. :)

Page 2: “If partner temporizes with 3, you will be able to show your doubleton heart.”

After 3, NS/S 3NT does not apply here, how to know whether the partnership is in slam zone? Bid to game immediate, perhaps it is the right action, perhaps it isn't.

It has been bothering me, I want to hear the answer.

I know, it doesn't just need HCPs. If 4-4-4-1 and high cards in other 3 suits, I guess you need at least 9 or 10 HCP.

“you would make a takeout double of 1 with the right shape even if light.”
How light can it be? 10 HCP?

Perhaps east should bid 2NT instead to 2, keep the chance of 4, and limit his hand at the same time.

Yes, so difficult to limit both hand.

What confuses me is that when non-serious 3NT does not apply, how to limit the hand.

You speak very well, question 6th should be increased.

3 over 3, it is not a jump bid.

Although 6 can make actual, but I agree with you. By reading your articles, I basically mastered the PJ. Thank you again.

Okay, the last question: In above example, the responder should or not bid RKC?

Thank you Andrew, your answer is very detailed. Please allow me to ask a different question: How about the bidding under 3-level of trump suit?

Example:

North hold:

AT874
A752
-
K953

South hold:

QJ2
983
AK984
AQ

Auction:

1 - 2
2 - 2
3 - 3
3 - 4
4 - 4
P

N-S play 2/1 GF, non-serious 3NT, slow arrival. After 2, the bidding under 3 should be description or Q-bid? if it is description, north can't Q-bid his A. if 4 = LTTC, south hold xxx, he can't bid on.

Hi Andrew,

I have 2 questions:

1. When play PJ and non-serious 3NT, Is it necessary to use LTTC?

2.

1 - 2
3 - 3NT

1 - 2
2 - 3
3NT

In above 2 auctions, someone already announced the partnership is in the slam zone. Can we say this:the 3NT is a waiting bid, not slam try.
