In the new 2018 ACBL convention chart all responses except for some psyches are allowed.
Thus 2 as artificial INV+ is allowed. Applies to Open, Open+.

If you alert every bid then all bids have the same amount of unusualness. Thus alert would become meaningless and force you to ask about every bid where there is possible need even natural bids.

I don't see how people can suggest RD then passing 3. (only 3 so far is early)
Think they are looking at the hands.
Does your partners have good support when you take a flyer at the 3-level?

In the super bowl the referee calls offside, holding, interference etc. Boy would the game of football change if infractions are not called. That doesn't mean people can't complain about the referees but that is another kettle of fish.

I don't see bridge being improved by not following the rules.

The robots penalty doubles are notoriously bad.
They are supposed to be using double dummy to figure things out
but they seems to double more on points than tricks.

Conversely, if you make a penalty double the robot assumes you have so many hcp and you may find yourself playing in an unwelcome contract as the robots thinks you can make it.
