Regarding Atlantic City, we wish to thank our ACBL allies for joining us this April at the American Bridge Association's Spring National. Maybe we can find more double members this way. ABA does 2 Nationals each year.

We're in that non-vulnerable game zone. I hope we don't get to the vulnerable game zone, let alone any slam zone.

That looks like one heck of a triangle. Do we have any players who are shorthanded in silver points? Yes I also saw about Flying Pig and Flying Buckeye.
Are any of these miniature versions of Beye weeks? More likely Mike Roberts weeks.

Dear Adam, I admire you for running in one saturated ACBL District. Mine is much less saturated (8 units rather than 2). My unit (135, Maryland Bridge Association) is one of the least saturated as compared to Washington Bridge League and Northern Virginia Bridge Association. Catch up with you later.

I do remember the musical by that name. Don't we also get Brussels Sprouts? With or without Hollandaise sauce.

I started in November 1977 in the Northern Virginia Bridge Association. I'm currently in the Maryland Bridge Association (since 1979).

I'm not going to subtract anything from Columbus, Montreal or Tampa next year.

If anyone in District 6 can remember, Victor Daly's check for the Washington Bridge League was returned. However, later on he did become a League member in WBL.
Most of our members are in many different ACBL Districts and their corresponding Units based on their respective residencies.

I can. This is a fixed schedule. It's part of every ABA Summer National. A lot of the activities are oriented for the people overnighting, along with having other things for their non-bridge playing families. The room rate includes several days immediately before and immediately afterwards.

Good morning. Now that we're up to 40 + 30 + 30 + 30 + 30 + 30 + 30 = 220 + 500 = 720, will there be an abundance of commentators to put us in the slam zone? Prepping for home sectional this weekend.

Hi Shall we go back to Algebra 1 (120 + 120 = 240) 240 + 50 = 290.
290 + 300 is 590. Will we hit 790?

Look we're now up to a vulnerable game with an overtrick (650) in a major suit.

We're between 680 and 690 now. I hope we don't get to the slam zone.

Also, when you change your address with Horn Lake, you're automatically reassigned to your new district unless you choose to stay in your former unit.

We also have a modified round robin in the ABA. That's usually, but not always, held on the last day of a Grade A tournament (comparable to a sectional). The teams buy their entries the night before to make it easier for the directors to make the brackets. A's play with A's and B's play with B's and C's play with C's.
Each of the 8 ABA sections will hold several different team games at the respective tournaments. Those tournaments (comparable to regionals in the ACBL) will have modified robins, Swiss teams, knockouts and Board-A-Match.
It looks like there will be a 2-session Swiss at the Summer National in Atlanta coming up, but not a modified round robin. There will be a single-session Board-a-Match. Fortunately, there will also be several different knockout events. Have a great day. More to come later.

Wow! Also saw where Mike Roberts is head director. I'm sure Al Freeman is smiling from up there. Congratulations, Jan.

I would also be perturbed. It was a wonder finishing third in east-west with my regular partner at Bridge Club of Baltimore today.

What about 80 + 80 +50 + 500 = 710. I check the math all the time.
You can also do 6 x 30 = 180 + 500 = 680 + 750 = 1430. Have a good night.

Michael,
My normal bridge partner teaches chemistry at a local college. She puts everything in perspective (no I won't make Louise miss school). To this date, we give those yummy box tops to our neighborhood school.
Don't ask me to eat Trix, but I do like Wheaties, and we use Zip-Locs (food storage bags) and Hefty (for waste bags). It's one of the things that keep friends together. I also like Cascadian Farms from Time to time.

You have a for real talent. See you soon.
