ATB - Teams knockout match (24 boards)
the match is close you were up by 12 at half time but think those have already gone and the match is probably level, you may be a few down, at this point. this is the last board OP and I were on opposing teams i opened 4H
Is this AI or UI?
first of all why has declarer not barred the return of a heart as he is allowed to do?

Oren Kriegel's lead problem: K8 AT6 KJ43 J532
i hate Jxxx leads but this is one hand i think it is the lesser of a lot of evils, i don't lead a diamond as partner with Qxx may have stopped off to bid 2D

David Eddleston's bidding problem: 76 AJ872 4 KQT42
forcing 1 round
Winston Chang's bidding problem: T62 KT2 AK873 64
what would 3d mean
David Eddleston's bidding problem: T9765 K5 93 AQ72
as you can imagine this was a director ruling problem the hand opposite asked questions after the 3 diamond bit to ascertain whether the oppo were playing full suit transfers (obviously not) and then passed. Holding AQxxx 10xxx Ax xx would you wander in with 3S or dbl here?
