I began playing bridge when I was 7.   My father was impatient becasue he neeed a 4th to join my two older brothers and spare my mother the pain of playing with us.  I have been playing in NYC since 1995.  I am currently honored to be  president of the Greater New York Bridge Association

Michael, congratulations on winning the "Just Declare" event of the Youth Robot Tournament with a 91.15% game. Alex Perlin is looking over his shoulder.
What's going wrong with Gatlinburg ??
I thought the most common model is that the tournament chair is a board member / officer of the unit or district board. I do not know cases where they had an agenda significantly different than the sponsor. I am curious to hear about other models.
