Two-Way New Minor Forcing (a.k.a. xyNT)
On what types of hands (strength wise), you would use the 2nt gizmo bid (when you are not planning to pass the 3 clubs relay): a) invitational or b) game forcing or c) slammish hands

Update: At this time, I have made arrangements for Sunday Swiss. But, I am still looking for partner and team for one of the following two events. 1. Mechanicsville K/O on Friday and Saturday. 2. Three Session K/O on Saturday.

Tanya, thanks for the alert. I was caught unaware of the changes. They also changed the timings from 1 & 7 to 10:30 and 3:30. Neither change is good for me, as I work and am a night owl.

Thanks for the comment. I now got it. I am assuming that bidding 1 first and then immediately bidding 2 by opener shows 5 spades and 4 or 5 hearts and a weak hand in this scheme as well just like in ordinary system.

Why is 2 invitational needed showing 4 and 4. If responder bid 1 initially and opener bid 1NT, does not that mean opener denied holding 4 spades?
