Ribbon events
I don't see how you can go back at this point. The Blue Ribbon is finished as a premiere event; sub-basement qualifying standards and getting rid of the 2 section 3 board final was bad enough, but the Soloway has now put the final nail in the BRP coffin ...
Thanks, Fred Gitelman
Too young to retire. 6 years is a long time but HOF awaits. Many thanks.
The Godfather of Bridge
Great stuff, Avon. Keep at it, keep at it, and keep at it. Come on Carlo, tell me what you did. Don't be afraid. Do you think I'd make my sister a widow? Now who approached you...was it Tattaglia or Barzini?

Arrest made in Barry Crane Murder Case
I have been told that when they found Barry every bone in his body was broken. If true, very unlikely it was some random guy on drugs. A psycho hitchhiker maybe, but a MO like that is not likely to quiesce for 34 years. A close and very plausible friend ...
Arrest made in Barry Crane Murder Case
Is this really the guy? This is going to be a real feast for people into cold case forensics. Maybe next they will find a bloodstained spat or a monocle with fingerprints on it and figure out who killed Elwell.
Crunch Time
This makes a lot more sense than paying for a trip to Turkey and taking your chances with the draw. If you find out either of them will be entering, just stay home, and lobby your friends to do the same.
